How do you make changes within your organization? I think it is critical to think about the transformation process before doing it. Here some ideas that are taken from the book "Small Business Solutions" by Robert D. Hisrich. By the way, the book is a good quick read but you can probably find it for pennies on Amazon or in the bargain aisle.

- Form a powerful guiding coalition
- Create a vision of end result
- Communicate a vision
- Select a champion
- Empower others to act on the vision
- Plan for and create short term wins
- Consolidate improvements and produce more changes
- Institutionalize new approaches
What I like most about it is that it is not 7-steps. What is the deal about 7 anyway?
